View Full Version : rollcages are fun
this man would be in the hospital, so say the least if he didn't have a roll cage. i think every1 needs to invest in a roll cage, because we never know when the worst could happen. it was at sekia, he was entering turn one and he went to wide, hit the little hill and that slung him around, and then while being slung around he hit the entrance ramp, thus making him airborne, passenger side down (rhd car) and flying roof first into the big hill, then causing his car to flip midair, before landing right side up. the driver, got out laughing. but yah. buy a roll cage. if u didn't already.

would like to know where some shops around tpa that do cages.
Is that a cusco cage? You don't have to have a professionally installed cage to save yourself from a rollover. :) I have the mazworx cage, and my dad and I installed it ourselves, I think I'll be perfectly safe in a rollover. Plus it meets all the sanctioning requirements, like grade 6 bolts and +, 3/8 in bolts at least... blah blah tubing...etc etc and it looks good.
he didnt just rollover, he flew into the embankment at, at least 50mph, he lost it at around 70mph. can your rollcage withstand that?

THe mazworx cage is the same one that we had in the enjuku show/drift car. Now Mark at Mazworx made both of the cages for our twin competition cars also.
I highly reccomend them as mark knows what he's doing with both s-chassis and rollcage and chassis stiffening. When you see what he's done to rob's car you'll understand and know why we went with mazworx for 2005. They sponsor us, you should give them business and see why we proudly run their product.

Are his rims for sale.... (jk)
Are those cages from Jegs any good, the ones you install yourself. Or are the ones done locally better. I think the ones done locally are done on an individual basis. I never looked into getting one yet, but was thinking of getting one for a rallyx car I plan to build.
rims are destroyed, just cant see from the pic

wow, Josh I never see you here. Nice to see you on the net. Thanks again for all the help this last week.
yea, Josh's cage is the man'est cage ever. with only 3 bolts holding it in(on same plate) the cage would not even budge. I really want one as well, as would i recomend one.

OMG :( Holly shit..
EDIT: because it can be ,because enjuku is sponsored by TR and gets special rights and priviledges. When the part is bad-ass the people speak up about it.

Or a lecture against driving your car hard, right?
Anyway, glad he's alright. Sucks when everything goes wrong, but at least he can live to tell about it.

Its not american laughing, its very hard to explain jdm laughing. he would laughed from still hes alive? scareing from what happened? he didn't laughed because he had fun.
He runs a shop, the motor must go to his next s14 Q's.
I don't go crazy, but i feel like to have a cage after i filmed this. it was very scarey.

He was probably laughing to keep from having a nervous break-down. LOL I know I would have. If nothing else came out of it, at least he has a good story and photos to share for years to come.
Calm down dude, sorry if I stepped on any toes. I don't really wanna try the cage out, not sure if that guy did either. All I said is that I think the mazworx cage is safe, and I think a cage can be put in by yourself and still be safe. And I was also inquiring about the cage in the picture. I just thought that the cage that I had was a safe choice, so I posted. I was by all means not poking fun at the picture, and I dunno if it could withstand that, I never said it could, I just said it meets the sanctioning requirements for a few organizations.
I'm sure that guy is counting his lucky stars, I know if I were him I would be. But geeze I dunno why there has to drama... *_*
