My freind has an Srt-4 with only the stage one upgrade as of right now. He took the intercooler pipe off the throttle body the other day and found out it was full of oil. Does anybody know what this is from or is anyone haveing/had the same problem and what is a possible fix. Also does anybody know what size injectors come with the stage one and are they pumping enough full to support the HP racing T3/T4 kit they sell. Hp racing claims they used the stock fuel system but i find it hard to believe that it would be enough for that. Thanks for the help.

It could have been caused by any number of things, but the oil is coming from the turbo seals on the compressor side.

Actually this is a common occurence on all SRTs. One of the major contributors to this is engine braking from high RPM's as explained to me by a SRT rep. It actually coming through the PCV line. And it trickles down the charge pipe.
Also, inside the airbox should be a sizeable deposit, there is a sponge on the left side of the stock airbox.

thanks for the insight on the oil. I knew i couldn't be from the turbo seals because it was not on any other intercooler pipes. Is dodge responsible for fixing or do they not care. Also does anybody know about the injectors

2 wods CATCH CAN!!! it will fix this problem. I just installed a CC on my 2004 SRT, and yes it is a problem. Tell him to look in his TB as well, because if there was a large amount of oil in the IC pipe, there might have been some in the TB as well
yup, cc will help. Dodge wont do anything, they have a buletin out indicating to dealers that a small amount of blowby is to be expected.
Another thign to consider is the PCV from an 04. its my understanding they changed the design a lil bit. Either way, my 03 is doing fine, I engine brake the hell out of it, and i have very little blow by. When I first got the car it was bad...bad enough to be 1qt low by 3000mile oil change.

The stock S1 or 2004/05 SRT-4 Injectors are 577cc/min. I would not run a completely stock fuel system with that kit, your asking for trouble. Your gonna need to convert it to a return fuel system, upgrade the pump, get a non-regulating filter, fuel pressure regulator, and get at least RC 650cc injectors. I would go with 750's to be safe. When it comes to fuel I wouldn't take chances.
Good luck
