s13 irs rack is a big yes, i had a thread or two about this on 4ag a while back, they talked alot of shit but the bottom line is it can, has, and should be done to every sr-5. Alex Aka. Battleversion did a big right up on how to convert ae86 front to s13, even with a high comp twin cam ka with some carbies you could make quite the fucking screamer, all with just a little time

"If you guys really want to know the secret setup, here it is.
Take the s13 front suspension and use that. Its 4 bolt, same bolt pattern. Larger brakes too.
Want to know how now? Well you take the s13 lower arm, cut and weld on one of my lower control arm kits, this will make it adjustable length and with the rod end, i can give you the spacers to make it bolt onto the ae86. For the tension rod, i have the ends for the s13 lower arm side, and the end for the ae86, now its just a matter of figureing out the length, and i probably have that in stock too. The camber plate from the s13 coil overs is really easy to make fit on the ae86 body. Never tried it but heard it was bolt on. Then for steering, use the stock s13 outter tie rod and make an adaptor to the ae86 inner tie rod, this should be the hardest part of the whole deal. But a peice of tubing and a welder would fix that pretty fast.
All in all, not that hard. It would cost a bit of money to do. Not sure if its worth doing that whole swap just to use some other struts/shocks since i havent tried it. I've thought about trying it but never got around to doing it. My setup is already pretty crazy."

Yeah, WTF with the HICAS rear? That's not just a chop and weld job either. They actualy have the correct subframe mounts, bushings, and spacers!

Don't overlook the V-mount as well! This car is awesome!

Howd they put a Corolla body on an s13 like that? Man that's not a corolla.

Damn! And he's my favorite D1 driver too :(

Ah well, props for creativity.

Matt Vassallo

You goofy americans.

they put the hicas rack back there because they probably had it laying around, and a hicas rack with a solid rear bar ( like that one has ) means instant adjustable rear toe arms! That way they can set the alignment however it needs to be with that corolla :-)

oh and the whole thing you were talking about was copied and pasted talking about the FRONT suspension, it had nothing to do with the rear.

Your eyes are just as round as mine.

I've definately never seen anything like that buildup before, looks pretty damn well put together.

Ken maeda's ae86 has had s13 IRS for years now. I don't think anyone has done the full s13 conversion except hibino.

yea ive seen that before, its nice.

ive been contemplating doing a V mount as well

i dont see the use of the s13 front suspension bc there are plenty of good rolla suspension out there.

i was contemplating the s13 rear IRS rear end.... since im going to do full coilovers in the rear anyway, im not sure yet though
