The winner is Leonard. ;)
In this forum, how fast a car can run a quarter mile depends on how many TURNS are in that quarter mile!

Nothing wrong with a VTEC, and don't get us wrong, we all respect that the S2000 is an awesome car.
Leonard, be nice! :D
Now, forget about quarter mile, that's not what your S2000 was built for. Come try your hand at autocross, there's one in Zephyrhills this weekend.

I said be nice, not be a dork!
Have you got the Cobra back together yet? Might be fun to see the Lightning out drifting Z-Hills this weekend. (how many Porsches do you think you could take with it?)

Official:14.1x @ 98MPH with an 8K launch and full throttle up shifts. Average Joe: 14.6-15.0 @ 93-96. A pro with a tail wind might get into the 13.9XX's.
Now, why?!
It's one of the worst drag cars around and the diff., half shafts, and CV joints were manufactured by Waterford Crystal (actually by Mazda, don't launch RX-8's either). Slap some drag radials on and you'll just cut the life expectancy of those parts to 25%. A true drag launch requires so much of the weak OE clutch. Just stay away from the strip...
Your car was made for the track and autocross course. Use it for it's intended purpose and you'll be happy. Use it with the mentality of a ricer and you'll still get smoked by every B16A swap, worked SRT4, and a zillion F-bodies in the Bay Area and spend a lot of time in the shop.
