Blake,
You will have to forgive that last post you saw on here from me. That was obviously somebody using my info because I was previously on their pc. Kind of a dick thing to do but some people have nothing better to do. What type of clutch and tire combo do you have?

rev it to that 14k rpm revlimiter you were telling us about, and just dump the clutch...

Well unless your putting down crazy hp/tq numbers I think your clutch is more than likely capable of doing the job. However your tires are still pretty hard so dumping the clutch is not going to work as you will go up in smoke. I would try holding it at about 2500 rpm and try riding the clutch out as you take the gas pedal to the floor and see how it reacts with those tires. Otherwise get a good set of Drag Radials that were made for launching the car.

but the T1S are very sticky not as sticky as a drag radial but sticky none the less

If I'm not mistaken if you go look at the treadwear on the T1S you'll se they are like 280 - 300 treadwear. Not as hard as some but still pretty hard.
Falcon Azena - 200
Nitto 555R - 100
BFG G Force DR - 000
M/T Drag Radial- 000
I know that Brigstone also has a 200 treadwear tire but cannot think of the model. However try what I mentioned before and see if that does not bring your 60 ft times down to under the 2.0 mark. Good luck.
