T1s are too grippy

you need to come in faster! throw caution to the wind and practice somewhere safe.

dont countersteer so fast? the RSR S2k is also has more power and specifically tuned suspension. and the driver (i dont know who it is) is also very skilled.

you need to learn to "drive" before you start adjusting any settings

Try to clutch kick (again?) right before it starts to catch again. I remember at DD2 people were doing multiple clutch kicks per turn to get the back to start out.

What sucio means by learn to "drive" is learn to drive aggresively and contol the car in a out of control situation before you adjut anything. No offense was intended. (People that go to competition driving school already know how to drive but they want to learn how to "drive".)

S2000's are EXCELLENT autocross cars...go out to an autocross(or 10), learn your car, learn proper car dynamics...then try to learn how to drift.

Start over and dont drift a Honda :dunno:

S2ks are NOT easy cars to drift. Period.

I didn't picture s2k harder to drift than miatas, are they? Or are miata's hard to drift as well?

s2k's blow for drifting, (ask DJ Speicher) and are good for outrunning the cops... (ask me) thats why he sold it and I built him and S14 and now he slays it.

s2ks' rule for drifting, once you put an RX7 steering rack in :-)

yea, a rack would help ALOT! I have drifted my buddys s2 a number of times. it is a hard car to get used to. The steering angle is what really holds it back. The car has a very fine line between holding a slide and spinning. I think a rack would do wonders.
Ps. at our spot I got the best results from first gear. 9k redline owns. With out torque you need to rev it.

order the drift bible, go to a big empty parking lot, and just cut loose, try side (e-brake) drifts, clutch kick, and some other little things that you will come up w/ over and over and over, and eventually u will get the feel for your car, and then you will partially "know how to drive" it takes alot of practice......jjust get the drift bible from www.drifting.com and that will seriously answer all your questions.....best video ever....

And Keiichi Tsuchiya is by far one of the most talented drifters i have ever seen.....soo damn smooth w/ everything, even when he messes up in the video, you can barly tell from the outside....great stuff
