Hey guys i was just wonderin if someone could give me some advice on nitrous I have a automatic 2002 eclipse, and wondering how big and what kind is good and what would be my safest bet. THX :-D

No but automatics dont like nitrous that much. It is really hard on the converter and the bands.

Why don't you worry about having a proper setup and not having to use nitrous and just use boost like you should with dsm's.

Why dont u give me 2000 dollars for boost and a turbo kit and shit for my engine and than i will get the proper stuff for a dsm. ITS AN AUTOMATIC 4 cylinder its a slow piece of shit im runnin mid 17's, now you see why i must get nitrous THX :-D

Why so you can run 16.5. Obviously you don't know shit and should just leave the car stock. Actually get nitrous, melt your pistons and then get away from mitsubishi's. You think a better converter, and a stronger trans is going to cost you less then $2000 you need a smack in the face.

Don't listen to them I've been sprayin my 420a for 6 months now with a 75 shot and it works just great and makes a great difference, for those of us who cant buy a turbo set up yet.

Here's what I would do:
1) Keep your car stock
2) Save up 3500 dollars
3) Buy a 1st gen awd that is in really good condition, for 3500 you should be able to get one with a jerrybuilt trany and some decent mods.

Now you have a car that is way faster than your auto 02 will ever be and you have a reliable daily driver.

Deffinitely.
I would leave your car alone. Just enjoy it for what it is. A nice daily driver.
Save up a little cash and find a decent 1g awd to play with.
If you can work on cars at all yourself or are willing to learn you can find ones for cheap and just freshen them up.
These cars dont bring near the money they used to which is great for someone who wants to build up a cheap fast car. Save up alittle cash and keep your eye open. You will find one for alot less than 3500.
I just picked a really clean GVR-4 for way under 3500.

It is not the motor he needs to wory about. You can be safe with N20. It is the tranny. He has a automatic and even when used safely those trannys especialy the converters will not hold up for long if sprayed.

yeah ok i proubly know every thing there is to know about dsm's. You guys just think you know every thing ive proubly have had every problem with a dsm that you can have . My dsm is built from the ground up and you know what its a pretty quick dsm for n/a maybe we should ask the vet i stuck with humm. Did you know that a gen1.5 rear clip will bolt right on, or did you know that g1.5 stock ground affects will fit huhh. Yeah you guys really know alot about dsm's. Or how about this wondering why you cant find a intake for your 1g or you did and it costs $200 bucks , did you know that a honda civic intake will work for a turbo and non turbo.

And by the way a FACTORY body kit off a 93 eagle talon, looks a hell of alot better than none at all. No one is talking about throwing on some cow catchers on the front of the car, if you actually chose to read the post, it did say STOCK! If you plan on arguing with me about what looks better, than your an asshole, plain and simple. Secondly I didnt buy my car from a used car lot, and drive it around and think im cool till it broke down. (unlike you, i actually built mine, because at the time, moneys tight you get what you can get)

MY DSM story: CAR#1 dumb blonde crashed N/T 93 eagle talon into ditch , car totalled her loss my gain 200 bucks
CAR #2 90 plymouth laser turbo, shell no struts nothing just the body (useful as a chicken coop) my gain 100 bucks

Put the two cars together with some good modifications to the engine and you get what i have now.

Dude give it a rest. We (those of us that have been around for a lond time) have all seen the inside of a 4g63. I personaly first started working on these cars when you were in grade school. Owning and working on a N/A dsm is a far stretch from working on a turbo one. There is so much you just dont have to deal with. Please just let this go you are calling out the wrong people here.
