mustang vx civic

me and my friend are going south on bayside and we come across a 94 mustang with no exhaust. we try to get him yo slow down to 40 but i guess he was liking 60. three honks and were off. were dead even till a 100 wjen my car fell on its face( dam o2 sensor). cant wait till thats fixed and i have my turbo kit on:cool:

i was just thinking it puts the computer into safe mode when u have the engine light on, so u wouldnt get enough fuel and timing. correct me if im wrong

When you go WOT, the computer pretty much says 'Fuck everything, DUMP GAS!' and you go.

Edit: I figured thats not really much of an explination, so I'll elaborate slightly. Engine operates in closed loop mode under normal driving conditions. This is when it depends on sensor feedback to monitor everything. When you mash the throttle (or when your engine is cold), most computerized engines disable the sensors and go into open loop mood, where it runs off of preset conditions. So while you're racing, the o2 sensor isn't bogging you out. At least thats how I interpret it, I might also be wrong :) But heres a website:

when we raced i got a hair line jump and we were dead even untill 95 100 then u pulled buses on me. u didnt even pull to my door till 95. So dont be upset if a little civic can play with u. and next time well go from a slower roll. Just to make u fell a little better it has alot of boltons.

HE WAS IN 5th and rolled on the throttle He was probbly at like 2300-3000 when he got on it and started to run you/.And for having stock gears 5th gear in a mustang is usless Its just pretty much overdrive and thats it/

Just to make you feel better a pretty much stock mustang put buses on you from your kind of roll and you have more mods SAD very sad.

hey im the only one with the witness and he sure as hell did. people dont cruise in 5th and know there going to race put it in neutral and dump the clutch back in 5th and race. believe whoever its not bothering that much that i got killed in the end. so will just have to go again. just have to make it soon

You should've been there later. These buncha ricers rolled up to Rosevelt and were scared to call out the v6 bird. We had a mass of Mustangs, my purple Firebird, and a Sentra Se R Spec V or whatever you call it. To make a long story short, one of these g-funks walks up to us and says, 'Yo, who'se spec is that?' I guess they wanted to run the 4-door grocery getter. They make life humorous.
