Track tonight was pretty good but after a couple of runs I had conceded that without the cool weather I was expecting I would not be breaking the 12.9 curse I've been in for a while. However towards the end of the night I smack down this:

1.775 60 ft
8.166 1/8th mi.
84.36 mph
12.845 1/4 mi
102.23 mph

Stock SR20DET w/ FMIC, Greddy O2 housing, Apexi N1 3" exhaust, ACT clutch, M/T Drag Radials, and a great tune.

Thanks. Got a long way to go before I catch you though. Saw your time slip in your gallery. Now that's impressive.

is that the 10.05 pass?
hmm.. I think I need to update that..
I'm sure you'll get there, just follow the equation:
quicker ets= time + money^2 :)
then of course when you get to your goal, to go further it's money^3 or more to go faster.. :)
good luck.

Derek...I saw you run an incredible time. Most impressive car out there IMO. SBF with juice...knocking on mid 8s over 160? Did I see that right? Great runs!

8.65 @ 157.89 if I'm not mistaken.

Not too bad for a 377 with 1 stage running at 3100lbs. :)

Thank you very much sir.
Glad that nothing broke on our nitrous "pop" either...

Ok Joe you're getting my motors mixed up.. the 377 was the old one.. this one is a 369 :D

not sure about the weight but it's probably between 3150 and 3200 depending on the loss for the brakes and the battery.

You're right on the times though, here's the full deal.
60' - 1.32
330- 3.632
1/8 - 5.561 @ 127.08mph
1000' - 7.237
1/4 - 8.652 @ 157.97mph

We were all pleasantly surprised (i just wanted it to go straight as compared to my last full run @ sunshine).

Gotta give the nod to Joe and Rob at Fordspeed for putting a great motor together..

Glad you did not kill anything with the pop, I have it on tape and will post it tomorrowfor you. When you were staging it sounded like the fuel pump was off because the motor was barely idiling, you will here it on the tape.

Fuel pump was chugging along, motor didn't want to come up into th RPMS on the brake.. I should've pulled my foot vs. my thumb, but my brain was saying RACE.
Thanks for the video.

I am still in disbelief how fast your car is with having that little horsepower. Plus you are great at drag racing. I am glad to see you break the 12.9's.

Thanks Alex, I was happy to see it also. I knew the car was capable of breaking the 12.9 barrier but did not think it would happen with it not cooling down and all the humidity last night. Who knows what it would have done with some sub 60 degree weather.

Some get it, some don't. FWD cars are made for rainy days not drag racing.
