I currently have a system in my car that I am very satisfied with, except for the amount of room it takes up. Here is a pic:

I am looking for some suggestions on how I might be able to set this up a little better, because I now need to fit a baby stroller in the back :D
The way the system is set up now, I would need to lower the subs and amp about an inch just to get the stroller to fit in, but nothing else would fit in the trunk. Any creative ideas on how to maybe rearrange things to fit better, or am I just out of luck and need to remove the subs?
I know the pic is a little too close, but it is all I have right now. I'll get a better picture to post up this afternoon with the cover off to show the box size and amp rack size.
Will the stroller fit front to back? how crazy do you want to get?

Stroller will not fit front to back, just side to side.
I don't care how crazy it gets, just so it can function and doesn't cost an arm and a leg to do. I would like to avoid fiberglass and such as it is something I haven't tried before and I would like to do this re-install myself, just like I did this one.
The current depth of the box, subs and grill is 9.5". I need it lowered by about 1.5" to get the stroller to fit on top of it and the trunk to be able to close, just for reference.

mac amp for kicker subs... welll okay then
You could always do an angled box, and put the subs angled against the seatback, and amp in the rear portion.
since you dont want to glass that eliminates like 3 options I had

Maybe look into elemental designs????? Better speaker less box makes you happy lol
As for keeping the same system I would wedge them into the sides of the back seat facing the glass window in the back kinda like a triangle????

Put the amp under a seat or in the spare tire well and make the subs fire at the rear of the car.

93ex, what were your ideas for glass. I have read a few tutorials online about fiberglassing, and I know you can get the materials at Home Depot to do it, I've just been afraid to try it. Have you ever done it yourself and how easy do you think it would be?
I'm thinking I am going to have to go with the two subs on the sides just behind both the wheel wells. Then do a low floor for the amp and cover it with plexiglass or something.
Ive done glass a lot. I would do a sub in the depressions on the sides behind the wheel humps, like you said. It wouldnt be too too hard.. in fact I bet theres a picture progression of my box when I did a similar enclosure in my blazer.
