I'm wanting to build a box for my truck but don't feel like doing it. This is basically the box I want:

Or if you know a shop, shoot it my way.

Come by Soundadvice, ask one of the car audio salesman for John to look at your truck. I'll hook you up.

Just to install the stuff? What kind of box do you want? Custom or just an improvement on your current design?

John,
I was putting 2 jl audio 3 way compononts up front so we had to re do my door panals to fit 2 6.5's in each door. kick panals for the 2 4's and the tweets were going in tha pillers.
then as for the box i wanted what ever box will hit the hardest!!!
and look good.
right now i have one 13w6v2 and was thinking of adding another one.
if you have any ideas that would be cool too.
i also want to hook up my remote start. they wouldnt do it because i have a stick.

Oh ok, yeah the price tag makes more sense now. The doors would be a ton of work. 2 sets really isn't necessary as long as you're pumping them enough power...that alone would save you ALOT of money. A ported box for 2 13w6's would be incredibly massive in your car...besides that fact that your windows would probably be flexing. ;) Were you planning a fiberglass box or what?

my windows flex now! do you think 1 set will keep up with 2 13's?
i dont care what the box is made of

Honestly, I don't think much anything will keep up with 2 13w6's at full crank. And if it did, your ears would probably be bleeding when you're done...seriously. But at normal listening volumes, I think one set would work fine. An mdf box is going to be cheapest, but like I said, it's going to be BIG and easily weigh 100+lbs.

my car is not built for speed. acually i think you have even looked at my system before. i have plenty of room and for now i am only going to run one sub. i will be entering a couple of shows so i dont want an ugly box but right now im not trying to spend 3 grand

I could do something for you box-wise....ported, 1" mdf, carpet matched. Anything from a simple JL spec box to something a little more custom...might not be worth it to do a nice custom setup though if you're considering getting another sub down the road.

you probably have the clifford matrix.. im guessing because that one is pretty pricey to get installed, we charge 500 at the shop where i work at installed, but i could do you remote start, just have to make sure exactly what type of model it is to make sure it has remote start... pm me with anymore questions oh yeah i could probably do it if its not too complicated between 30-50 bucks
