I was wondering if there was anyone out there that would be willing to help a broke ass drifter. If i was to buy a shell ( cheap ) and buy a ka motor ( cheap ), would there be anyone willing to help me put it in and wire it up and all without charging me $500? i really dont have a lot of money or i would just buy a car with a motor already. but its cheaper to buy a shell and motor. thanks in advance for any help. and please, no bashing or flaming. just someone looking for some help

first get the motor, then ask some people will do it for free, but more than likely its always nice to give them some cash...

I heard if you have a 240, you can drift automatically :roll:

I think the bbq thing is a good idea.

It sounds to me like you don't know alot of people around here. Being nice to people is a great way to make them like you.

Coming out and meeting people is a good way too. I'd help a stranger for $$$. I'd help a friend for nothing.

ill do it for 250$.
if its a direct swap. ie- s13->s13 ka24de->ka24de
or ka24e->ka24e.

extra for extra wiring.
and no guarentee on your parts.
so if i have to pull everything out and reinstall because you got a bad motor, another 250$.

i have a s14 ka and s13 tranny i'll sell for 200 bucks. you can't beat that. the motor mad good power too. 157hp, 160tq.

actually phil i have drifted. i have drifted a couple different 240s, i have even front wheel drive drifted my prelude when i had that. i do know how to drift....and i would give money...but some people are saying $4-500. why do people on tr always have to try to flame someone or something? and the prelude wasn't the only car ive ever owned...thanks

yeah i know dave...but he also never has ANY money to finish his car...and hes always saying that he needs one more thing to finish...then 2 weeks later he needs something else....i am looking for a car that has everything but motor and tranny. i do know how to drift...im not "underestimating it". as soon as the car is running, im going to go to all drift days i can...when i get back from basic ( army ) im going to put all my money into the car...so for now...we can call me 'soon-to-be-drifter' but if anyone knows where i can get a shell cheap...lmk
