ok mopar dudes, here's a question for ya. i'm workin on a 99 stratus with a 2.4 auto in it. it came in for the usual leaking head gskt, but i noticed that a couple cam lobes were wearin even though every thing's oiling properly. i figured since the customer changes his oil every 3000 miles with synthetic oil, and that the inside of the motor is clean enough to eat out of, that the cams must be made of some crappy metal, but here's the question. i got some cams from a friend out of another 2.4 but the firing order is different. will these cams still work??? when the cam gear dowells are down the cams are on #4 instead of #1. does the computer get it's #1 ref from the senser on the back of the intake cam? can i turn it 180deg.???? somebody please let me know! :)

you might of got 2.0 DOHC cams, what you need to do is turn the cam magned clockwise 90 degrees to run with the 2.4 PCM or buy a set of 2.4 cams from me.
