Ok, what are your opinions? 10" or 12" Sub what is better? Also which sub to get and where can I get it from cheap? Best Buy? I am searching ebay now, but my friend says don't waste time with used subs. What do you guys think?

your friend that said dont buy used is retarted, for a little extra thump in the back.. why not go used and spend half as much? you wont need all that much since your car is a hatch and hatches seem to echo/magnify the bass (depends how you want to look at it) gseclipse has a type R 10, which isnt to bad of a sub for the price.

It is true. Same goes for SUV's. That's not to say their aren't other factors as well though....ie, vehicle acoustics, amp/sub's used, eq/xover settings, or enclosure type and position. Think about it in a home audio standpoint....is the music louder when you're in the same room as the system or when you're in the bathroom with the door closed.

how many spl vehicles are vehicles with the subs outside the listening chamber?
