ok my father just bought a 1991 toyota mr2 turbo. he is haveing a few problems with it. nothing major though. i have been working on cars for more than a few years now, but i have too many responsabilities with work and my own things. so i dont have the time to work on it. is there any local shops other than the dealer you guys would reccomend? i do know about the details of this car, and warned my dad about buying this car for my brother. but any help would be appreciated.

Ryan works at XAT racing . He owned an MK2 Turbo adn everyone I know in the area brings there MR2 to him and or XAT ...

Only shop I would trust with it

 

I second that on Ryan @ XAT. Everyone takes their MR2s to him and he has owned many himself. He just got done working on my MR2. He knows his stuff on any MR2s and all Toyotas for that matter.. Call XAT @ 813-875-7223 and ask for Ryan.

i dont take mine to xat....too far to drive.....i take mine to jerry ostols or something here is st pete...well actually..i'll just do it myself......

point here....NOT EVERYONE WITH MR2'S GOES TO RYAN, but if i had a problem i couldnt fix i would ask him too..hehe
