I've got an amp and subwoofer and I recently installed some new front speakers, everything ran great. When I juiced it I lost all of my speakers but still had my subwoofer. I disconnected the subwoofer and it still didn't work. What the hell did I short out?

My Cd Deck works but the speakers don't, maybe a connection flew off one of the speakers and is either grounding out on the car or touching the other wire... Who knows I'm gonna tinker with it tommrow just if I had any special places/things to check!

Sounds like one of the speakers are grounded. This could either be a pinched/loose/spliced wire or the the voicecoil in a speaker is fried and it's grounding itself internally. You'll have to test each speaker lead at the deck.

I agree with tb spyder check your speakers for proper connections .....if your running another amp for the fronts check the remote......

Hey Guys, I kinda feel dumb but here was the reason: The front speaker shifted and then stuck to the bare metal of the car. So I grounded the speaker out. Its fixed for good now. Thanks for all of the help@!
