SR smoking bad!
Just got my S13 SR rebuilt and it is smoking bad. I got the sleves bored out, new larger pistons with rings, rod bearings, oil pump, metal head gasket, HKS cams, upgraded turbo and new intercooler. Why is it smoking? Anybody?

It is smoking blue. It didn`t smoke on the beginning, it started smoking three days later. I notice today that it smokes when is idleling at over 1,000 rpms, if i lower it to 800 rpms it stops. I have not even got on it yet!:bbb:

It could the the rings haven't seated yet. It could also be a dynamic seal in your new turbo which are known to smoke at idle.
Those are the good options because they will either resolve themselves or aren't bad.
The bad options:
rings installed backwards or with the end gaps all ligned up. bad valve seals or guides. Wrong pistons/rings after overbore.
Does it smoke under boost?

Well today i did a compression test on all of the cylinders and they are all fine. I decided to pull the turbo out and noticed alot of carbon build up on the exhaust side and some play on the propeller. This is the second time i get the turbo rebuilt and i`m getting anoyed:bbb: .
Does anybody recomend a good local turbo shop?
