Before you buy a 240 you should try and drift the prelude. Find an open parking lot that is not around anybody and try and spin it out. Then you can start doing little drifts but make sure you have a lot of run off for whipping back and understeering. See if you like it first.
It is fun but you dont need a 240sx to have fun.
Also come to the drift days. We have lots of fun (even though I dont drive).

A trailer for a dvd that you actually purchase.

you have to learn how to drive before you learn how to drift
_Charles_

You want to learn about drifting?
Explanation of what drifting is:
http://www.ter-tech.com/Drift.html
Info about top 10 US Drift Cars:
http://www.xatracing.com/drifttopten.html
Start there. Learn what the sport is about, goto an event and watch as well.....you'll learn alot from just that.
Dec 12th: USA Intl Speedway, LAkeland Fl $5.00 for Spectators
Dec 18th: Ocala Gran Prix, OCala Fl $5.00 for Spectators
As far as instructional videos go, Drift Bible is probably the best place to start. There is also a good european 'drift bible', but that's not available in stores/net, but can sometimes be found in Bit Torrent. (no I do not have a link)
So, after you learn what drifting is, what you need to do it, and have watched it a few times (in person), you'll have a greater appreciation.
As far as 'drifting' the prelude.....I wouldn't even try.

beginner drifting section was quite informative.
Godforbid if you just went around this fourm reading which posts seem to be interesting to you so you have a bases of knowladge so you dont seem like a total bandwagon jumper. It would not kill you to look around the internet for basic information.

Exactly. So that makes me a knowledgable bandwagon jumper that drives my current car to its full potential in saunctioned driving events.
I highly reccomend autocross, you have to learn how to drive before you can learn how to drift. Drifting isnt as easy as it looks in videos and takes some dedication.
what the heck is drifting

well all u need 2 do is convet ur FF to FR and then get a LSD and some suspension and then convert it to manual tranny.... from there on its ez, all u g2 do is let the clutch out ( the pedal to left of ur break ) and let it slide :mullet:

Why would you turbo the stock motor. Everybody knows it takes SR20 to drift. Hachibill will tell you that you need at least 400hp to drift at all. Try to get it sideways stock, its possible. Rain is your friend.

I am going to keep my 240 for a couple more years and then sell it for 50,000 becuase all the 240s will be wrecked.
Everytime I go to autozone, pepboys, napa etc... everyone asked if I am swapping an SR or if Im a drifter. It starts to get annoying.
people dont have to ask me
because my car is covered in stickers and slammed on its nuts
hahahah fuck you ichi-go
