Sustec Pro DD
The rigorous demands of drifting require an extremely rugged suspension that can handle the extreme loads of going sideways. Using extensive test data from professional D1 driver Kazuya "Chunky" Bai, Tanabe has developed the all new Sustec Pro DD line of coilover suspensions. Based on the track proven Sustec Pro RR design featuring spring load adjustment, height adjustability, dampening adjustability, and extreme heavy-duty ruggedness, the Sustec Pro DD is the perfect coilover to complete any drift setup.
Front/Rear 4way adjustable dampening force
4 distinct levels of dampening adjustment provide for easy suspension tuning to adapt to any drifting surface.
Solid Pillow Ball Upper Mounts
Camber plates allow for easy adjustment of the suspension's geometry and have durable NMB pillow ball construction for solid response.
Sustec PRO210 Series Competition Spec Springs
Utilizes Tanabe's specialized Sustec PRO210 springs that are extremely lightweight, anti-sagging, and can withstand the extreme loads of sideways driving. Heavy-duty springs are capable of 2100N/mm in tensile strength. *For the professional suspension tuner, different spring rate sets are available for special suspension tuning.
Developed for drift
Tanabe's research and development team joined with D1 professional driver Chunky Bai to engineer a coilover suspension made specifically for drifting applications. Sustec Pro DD provides predictable handling and maximum control during a slide. Providing controllable traction when you need it, this coilover is ideal for high speed drifts.
Locking Mechanism
Lock down your suspension with the Taper Lock system that prevents strut movement that may alter your suspension geometry. Lock Pins make locking down the suspension simple and quick. Drift with ease knowing this safety feature prevents the rigorous jarring motions of drifting from changing your suspension geometry.
Track Tested
Used exclusively by professional drifter Chunky Bai, and the Signal Auto twin Sileighty drift cars.
Front and rear pillowball mounts improve responsiveness. Feel the feedback, drift with confidence. Front pillowball mounts allow for camber adjustability offering additional flexibility and customization for your drift car's suspension setup.
Rear helper springs provide traction and eliminate preload that is a problem associated with higher compression springs.
