theres about 5 people in this forum that already make badass videos and some do the DVDs too. so unless you have a few hundred dollars in camera mounts along with a good digital camera, great software, and hardware you will have very very stiff competition.

just letting you know.

but, whatever. do what ya like. I reccomend starting with DDAY5 to get your feet wet....I can get you a hook up with a media pass for that event, only $40, but well worth it....let me know,

I'm not worried about competition....

but here IS what I was/am worried about. I'm concerned that you are looking for street drifting (becuase if you were just wanting drifting, you would show up at DDAY5). It also sounded like you wanted to charge.

If you want experience, that's cool....but goto DDAY 5 and the Florida Drift event on the 12th.....ALOT of footage can be taken there. Hell, I'll even let you use my car mount @ DDAY5 if you like.

what kinda car mounts do you have? cuz i dont have any yet, i need to get the metal to make it with, and i want to see someones so i can get a good idea on how to make mine. but to make it clear....THERE IS NO CHARGE!!!

I ordered one from www.chasecam.com. I liek it a lot, it's nice and lightwieght and very small. Supposedly tested to hold over 75lbs at 200mph. Here's a pic. Go check their site, a lot of cool mounts and what not. http://www.chasecam.com/mount/ultramount-elise.jpg

Yeah, but I would be a little hesitant to put it on the side of the car. I used it on my hood and worked out great. Be sure to clean the car really well where you will put the suction cups. It was sliding a little on my car but I had about 10 layers of dust on my hood because I thought the first couple laps were for those who wanted to practice their rally skills. :lol:

If you find me @ DDAY5, just ask to borrow it. I do not plan on using it.

Also,My mount has been used on the side of MANY cars in drift events. During DDAY 2, I was in a hurry, and wasn't paying attention. A few moments after Eric left the pits, the top 2 suction cups poped loose. With only 2 cups holding on, the car made it all the way around the track @ Primus. No damage. It will hold in 98% of situations, just don't rush.

I would have it @ the I-4 Drift event in Lakeland this weekend, But I believe Drift Unit is borrowing it for HIN MIami.
