Hey why the hell not, sounds like a pretty good idea to me. If you make a review, do a Review: part whatever, and i'll make a sticky with the link in it.

Well, with every review, I think a Brief summary of the products appearance, packaging, and where you ordered from, with wait time etc. Price paid, unless you got it at cost or you dont want to say...

Then, a Quick rundown of equipment already in the car, so people will get the idea of what kind of equipment this is running with.. if you buy some rainbow components and run them off a boss head unit thats bridged to them.. then say the rainbows distort etc.. we can see what the real issue is... or if you run 12 guage wire to a brutus and say the output isnt nearly as expected...

Then the listening.. tell what songs you used, and what enviroment (box, wattage, placement)

Sound quality(1-10)
Spl(1-10)

Warranty?

Just the basic stuff youd see in a magazine :)

My review:

JL Audio: Over priced and over whored
Audiobahn: Good if you like CHROME FLAMES but besides that stay away
Rockford: Tsk tsk on rockford. Why did such a good company go so bad. Their older stuff was good, then they started goin down hill with the HE2's and punches. Their brand new shit is crap, stay away
Hifonics: Good amp for the money, does the job but dont expect this amp to last a lifetime because it wont, it gets hotter than a redheads upshaved crotch. Also the blue light up logo screams, "HEY IM IN THE TRUNK! STEAL ME!" Other than that it bangs hard

eD: SQ company, good prices. Great if you want the most sound out of small enclosures

RE: Ahhh the famous RE. They changed their site for the 3rd time now but cant seem to update the content, just the URL. Their subs are all excellent from what I hear. Go to Circuit City in citrus park and ask em what they think about this fine company. They will make fun of you

Stay away from pyle, legacy, pyramid, road gear, sony, polk, kenwood, pioneer *subs*, and yes, even Audiobahn. "But the flames look so cool" doesnt make the sub sound any better. Subwoofers are speakers, not rims.

Hmmm what did I miss

Ahh Kicker. This one is iffy. Kicker is more of a SPL company altho some boards beg to differ. Ive never really heard a clean sounding kicker sub, then maybe again I never heard one setup properly. Most people use kicker for comps and such due to their ruggedness, price, and sound. If you wanna get loud but dont mind a little dirty dirty in yo music get these. They impress

My main lesson I wanna teach is IF THE AMP SAYS 1000 WATTS MAX DOESNT MEAN ITS A 1000 WATT AMP. Yeah it might push 1000 watts for a split second while you quickly rev your engine and give your battery a heart attack but thats it. If you see 2 amps, one for 50$ and one for 150$ just remember, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, period. Oh yeah and volfenhag isnt really german made, they suck. ;)

No offense...but Curtis can you read? lol Reread Jesse's post about what makes an effective review, you just basically wrote a whole bunch of opinions, mixed in with the obvious that Pyramid is crap.
So rewrite your review so its sticky-worthy...with all the stuff Jesse said reviews should have.

blah thats too much writing for this small ahq. Most of the people on here already know their ish who are regular posters. I think its a wait of time. My opinions stand unless jesse tells me to delete

The point of a public forum isnt to inform the regular posters who know everything already :)

I wont tell you to delete, You opinions on products are your opinions on products.

I'll do a review when my new coimps get here, and get installed.

How about someone do a review on some equipment they already own? Make a new topic, and PLEASE be subjective. I can find faults in all of my current equipment.. nothing is perfect.
