Formula69 and I get on it a bit, first run I left in fourth, he got a nice jump being on motor, but after I hit boost it was pretty much over, I pulled on him slightly. We ran again, with me in a gear with power and it wasn't too much of a race. My girl actually asked if he was even racing. We went again, same results with him multiple cars back.
Raced the Stroker mustang again tonight, he jumped first time, I spun wildly due to rain until redline feathering the gas to stay alive. fourth gear I reeled him in, but he shut down as I was ready to pass. 2nd run with Stroker, He didnt jump, I left him by about 2 cars and just shut down because it was well over with. 3rd run. He jumps on me again on the second honk, but I easily reel him in becase I had already brake boosted, I passed him and shut down.

This is by far, the best race I've yet to have on the new setup. I have to say this was great, and the rematch will be even greater.
My turbo is maxed out now. I have nothing more with this setup if I cannot beat him on the next run.
We go from a high, 70mph roll. We did this because the roads were wet, and he's FWD, which would make it even worse.
I was worried about putting the car into 3rd being at 4500rpm and holding that for so long. It's an old car ya know. :P After a mile or two of adjusting speeds. He honks, we go. He instantly puts a car on me, and out of nowhere my car decides it wants to go faster. I start to gain ground on him, decently, he shifts into what I believe was 5th? and I gain even more on him. Right now Im at his back bumper, and I dont want to shift into 5th... But I had no choice. I shift and fall back to around 3ft from his bumper, and slowly started to inch on him again. We shut down well over 130mph. The race was over. I lost. I didn't lose nearly as bad as I thought I would. That car is an unbelievable quick car. You would never imagine it from the clean, stockness exterior.
Good runs all. :) Sorry JR, you got high boost tonight.
Boost was spiking to over 20, but settled to 17 and held tight.

I can not believe the Turbo Turd beat JR's stang. I think I'm gonna be sick. Please someone tell me it's not true. Or that JR ran lean. Peace my Nizzles.

nice run. but next run will be a 40 roll cause 70 is tooooooo high. and I let off at 120 or so and yup you were at my back bumper. I didnt see you pulling any more, it kinda leveled off if anything. Next race well do 40-130 to be sure of the outcome. I am glad you are at least admitting that your car will not magically get faster on that setup like your usual "when i get this clutch" when i dont go lean "when i hold boost" lol just fucking with you
it was a nice run I agree. BUT It wasnt me turning down the 40 roll cause of me being FWD hehe. I raced like 4 others times froma a 40 roll, including Steele and An SRT ;) It was you worried about your car sliding off the road

A 40 roll definatly wouldn't have worked last night. I figured you wanted a higher roll because of traction? :dunno: I was inching the gap closer, but it wouldn't have mattered much. When I finally shifted into 5th I dropped back a few feet, and closed that until we shut down.

Yeah it's really difficult to believe on high boost my car is faster then on low boost.

Wow, good run guys. However it sounds like a stupid decision to turn it loose on the wet roads. Even though I look forward to crushing you both (trash talk) I wouldn't want to read about the two of you in the Sunday paper. Racing is just not that important to go at it on wet roads.

Good runs. I decided not to go out last night because it was wet. I don't think I'd get traction at 70mph on a wet road.
Maybe next week I can come out and let you all beat up on me. :) Maybe we can get some runs in from a dig or you can head out to sunshine on wed.

why were you crazy enough to run on wet roads?
Cronic

Because we're just that insane!
The roads had dried up quite a bit, and it wasn't soaked or anything. Just some parts still had just enough water on them to break the tires loose.

Fatback, stop crying.. Everyone that loses to that car hates it... Just keep building and racing him, until you can beat him... Simple as that...
