...for forgetting that I am no longer boosted and invencible against normal cars.

The scenerio:

New Nissan v8 Titan v. me. I was out doing some last minute shopping (I needed some tissue paper for a present) for my brother's GF @ 3am and on my way home. I don't know how, but I forgot totally that I am not a boosted badass like I was merely days earlier. It was easy to do since I am tired and staring at the same dash/gauges as my previous ride, only with a louder exhaust note due to lack of the best muffler ever created by man: a turbo. Moving on, a Nissan Titan v8 pickup pulls up next to me, slips it into neutral and revs at me. A FHP officer has someone pulled over and I make it clear I am not going to run with over-stated hand jestures towards the blatantly obvious blue lights and blue strobes flashing off to the side of the road. He dips out once the light turns green anyway. Forgetting that I am more than 100 hp down from my last S13, I try him at the next red light. I don't know this car all that well and clusterfuck the launch. My salad gets tossed through first gear. Second gear might as well be hari-kari on my account as the v8 pulls Riverview doublewides on me.

Final thoughts? Craig should learn his new car and obtain boost or just bow out when anything more powerful than a Chrysler Town n' Country challenges him to a stoplight duel. Had this been my old car, I would have made this japanese cowboy look like a race between a riding lawnmower and a nitro burning rail dragster. That shows me up for not knowing my own car's capabilities I guess. Day 2 of new car ownership has been harsh acceleration wise, but hot damn, I feel like a drift hero with the way this car is set up right now.

Cliffs notes: I lost, I let myself down, I don't know my car, it goes sideways really well.

Who would race in a pick-up..jeez. Dont feel to bad, they are quick trucks. But that should just motivate you to start modding again!

N/A for N/A maybe.

2.2L blurbo is what the oldschool vans/mopars had. There is a turbo Caravan at the Cophers in Bradenton, but it is an autotragic. Have only seen 1 5 speed turbo Caravan and I want one.

You've seen a 5 speed turbo mini? Arrgh, where are these things hiding? I've always wanted one of those things but I'm not at a point in life where I can have more than one project car... or even the one I've already got, honestly. If I found a five speed for cheap I'd run to the nearest bank and do a cash advance on my credit card to buy it just to keep somewhere until I could mess with it.

Bob and Lori (of oldschool TR fame) had a 5 speed blurbo Caravan. I didn't even believe they made one until I saw it with my own eyes. Evidentally, they are beyond rare. Vans like that make me want to mid-mount a built rb26 or 2jzgte in a Previa egg van just to drop jaws on the street.

There are now two 1989 Turbo Caravans in the Bradenton Copher's. The white one that we saw a few weeks ago, and a new blue one..

They are 2.5L 4-bangers BTW.

Depends on the mopar, the shelby's, or Turbo II's are a 2.2L with a pretty decent garrett turbo. The Turbo I's are 2.5L turbo, they arent as tough as the 2.2 and they get a crappy little mitsu turbo, its basically the regular 2.5L crap motor with a turbo bolted to it.
