my friend brought a used 96 mustang gt from a used car lot. His stock radio is missing. ( radio and cd player seperate version) the guy who had it before butched the wiring. so everything is all messed up. I managed to wire a after market cd player with only the highs.

Does anyone know how to wire a mach 460 system to a aftermaket cd player. i have a few harness

i have the stock cd player male and female harness. the power supply harnnes for the stock headunit still intact.

there is a female black harness lower but nothing to plug into it. the wires that go to the highs is gone

does anyone know what the grey looking cable plugs are for there 2 of them

i searched google but i didnt find what i was looking for

yeah the mach is a bitch, im really not that sure, as im sure you know, the other speakers are ran off the amps in the trunk. i guess you can just follow that wire from the trunk up front if worse came to worse. you need a special harness or somthing i think.

rewire = run new speaker wire to the doors = not fucking with factory wiring.

my friend wants to use the stock amps so rewiring would be a task

how does the stock amps get power? is it from the harness up front or a power and ground runs to the amp seperately.

if some one can answer this my problem would be solved

you gotta bypass the stock amp, and to do that properly you will need a wiring diagram, ill look one up for you
