My steering is so much more responsive. I always thought my steering was a tad bit sloppy, even Tony commented on it when he drove it. I didnt really notice that much till I drove a 87 gt a few weeks ago that had a lto more miles and was a northern car. Its steering was so much better than mine. So tonight I found out. My steering rack bolts werent all that tight letting the rack move 1/4" in any direction.

I knew that there was a problem, I wouldn't have guessed that though. I figured it was some SERIOUSLY worn front suspension bushings.

Well that clunk is still there, but its inside the rack itself, nothing I can do about it. Im sure the bushings are worn somewhat after 140k abused miles ;) Doubt anything woulda bad woulda happened, I thin its more rack bushigns are shot, it uses locking nuts on the rack.

You need to replace those with aluminum bushings. :-D
