I have heard about this before on auto-x events and have heard of people losing their warranties on new cars but it looks like the insurance companies are starting to watch drag strips too ! :mad:

Bottom line, take off or cover your tag at any tyoe of track you go to.
Just a little FYI for you guys / gals so be careful.

I think you should call them back and tell them your car was stolen. Cops recovered it at the speedway.

I bet if you were to fight it you would win. Insurance companies are already raping people as it is. I quess they just need more money

I am cutting our a piece of cardboard the size of a license plate and sticking it in the Mustang to use while at the track.

This is true guys. When I was going thru my situation with my car the insurance company was reading this board to get information on me. They quoted some post I made. Now.. Legally I think they cant just up your rates because you race to get money out of you b4 an accident. Thats like the police arresting you now because they think you will commit a crime in two weeks even though they have no evidence of this. If for some reason your rates are increased for no reason. I would investigate or change insurance companies.
