lookin for a new head unit for the jetta this will be the start of a system i will be installing over the next few months

but u audiophiles look this over and tell me what u think

You will probably be happy with almost any pioneer deck you get. That one does have good specs, but it isnt my style. If you like that look, and can get one for cheap then go for it, but you should be able to find a deck way cheaper than that, with the same or better specs. Theres a guy selling one for 300 in Misc Auto For Sale. Used. Let us know what else you plan to do with your system, but if you dont plan to do much, then IMO this deck would be a waste of money.

Cliff Notes: Good specs but way overpriced and not my style

well im not to worried about price as of yet, i have a friend that gets them wholesale so for now im just lookin for decks... any recomendations?

That's a great deck, but like Kevin mentioned...it may be overkill for your needs. If money isn't an issue though, I'd say go for it.

my friend has a deck like that but its the 8500 not the 9600, still it looks exactly the same, loved it, when you start the car the first display folds down automatically and the second display has a bunch of screen savers. Played CS's very well, didn't skip, I say go for it
