i just put a tv in and its getting a little bit of static when the car is runnin but not when it is just on.........
its not a ton of static but just a little.........
anyway, my question is, so you think it is the actual monitors power supply getting interferance or the dvd player?
the sound quality is awesome so i dont think its the dvd player but i could be wrong.........
anyway, what can be done to solve this........ is there a coil you can use for the tv or something like that???????
The video signal is very sensitive to any electrical interferance, and even feilds will cause issues..

i just figured its some type of static signal in the power supply.......
most tv's i've seen do what i am talking about........ i just wondered if there is any easy fix to this.......
its not a constant static, just every once and a while the tv will kinda flicker a few little lines across it, its barely noticable, but it doesn't do it the least little bit when the engine is off........
did u make sure to get video rcas? or just regular audio ones cause that could be a problem. i know i get a little static on one of my tvs cause its running along side of my power cords and shit hopefully i fixed that when i rewired .

see, i think its coming from the power source, not the signal source.........
i mean, its just crystal clear when the car power is on, but it gets that lil tiny bit of static when the motor is runnin........ so i think its the power signal,
bascally, how do you run a cleaner power signal.........
in fact i'll guarentee its the power cuz when the signal output is off but the monitor is on you can still see the lil fuzz every once and a while.......
should i try running a dedicated line to it? i have it running off the power accessory now........
