break in period?

ok so, for the break in period .... how many miles should I wait? and what rpm do i need to be shifting at? i heard 2,000 miles at shifting before 3,000 rpm...is this true?

1000 miles without exceeding 4000RPM.

Not that I've ever heard of...but for every new car that I've ever owned I have changed the oil after 1000 miles.

As for the break in period, I was told for the first 1000 miles dont take it above 4 grand

ya pretty much...the only reason i bought it there was b/c of how much they offered for my other car. Other than that they are pretty stupid....they ordered the wrong parts for me and everything already

i have like another 200 miles before I hit 1,000....ill be headed up to coastal pretty soon (after my break in period) to see the shop
