View Full Version : Wanting a MP3 Player for the truck
I realy hate to remove the stock radio in my new truck....Do you think a newer CD player out of the same truck might have MP3 ready?
Or dose Ipod or Dell make a set up for there players for stock radio's?
if I do get a new radio for the truck...I want the one with the HD in it....
You can get an fm modulator for any of the mp3 players... I know ford has mp3 but i dont know if gm does.
food for thought- alpine Hu's (well some of them) are able to contol an ipod, so you can put your ipod mount in the glove box or center console.. and never have ot look at it to change songs
much better imho than the 1000$ + price tag of the HD based head units

If you have a cassette player in the stock hu then you can get one of those tapes that hooks up to the earphone slot in the ipod. I knew someone that used that setup and he said it worked very good.
