trying to install pioneer in dash tv, avx-p7000cd

ok so now i have it working, yet as i go through the channels , the FM audio works but the audio on the cd that is playing doesnt......whats up i can hear the radio but when i change the source to cd it doenst make any noise?

sounds like a malfunction with the unit itself to me... i assume the pioneer 7000cd is powering the speakers? or an amp?

It reads the tracks and minutes/seconds, just doesnt play audio? Or nothing at all from cds?

it reads and tracks the cd, everything seems fine just no audio.....

Yes it sounds like a malfuntion with the unit itself. If the radio sounds fine but cds dont then there is nothing wrong with the rcas/amps/rca out puts/ speakers which leave only one thing....the unit

Unless there is something wrong with say the laser inside

Did you buy it used? if so remember car audio goes through a lot of abuse. Dust, heat, moisture...something could have happened to the laser

no i figured it out.......it wasnt a malfunction, i had the IP BUS wire connected wrong.....
