*King Of The Strip. Wild tire smoking Pro Mod Style Door Slammers.

*King Of The Street. Wheel Standing Street Legal Cars.

*Stock Suspension. Over Powered Motors In Stock Suspension Street Legal Cars.

Also scheduled: $1000 To Win Combo Bracket Race - Dragsters And Door Cars.

Gates open at 5:30pm. Qualifying begins at 6pm.

General admission: $10. Under 12 FREE.

ohh do i love watching heads up madness u get a little bit of every thing,it will be just what i need to hold me over for next weekend.
derek did the give the small block cars a weight break yet.i think its still alittle funny to have the small block cars weigh 3100pounds one year then make them 3200 for the next year and not add weight to the big block guys.

no weight break yet, still pushing for it though. if I can get enough people to agree it should go through... They need to do something, cause it's not easy competing with 600+ ci plus the bottle with my lil ol motor...

i do agree that they need to setup a better weight system then what they have now.they pretty much made it where who ever has the most money will win the race.the little guys on a budget dont have the money to go buy a 632ci engine with 12 or 14 degree heads and 2 stages of juice.i've been looking into turbos but i'm sure soon as soom one shows up with a twin turbo small block or a single turbo big block all the big block guys will be screaming no fair add more weight to him.

Yep, Dragin is putting together a 101mm turbo setup, it'll be nasty. but hopefully I'll have something for him next year... :)

damn that is nasty i was looking at a 88mm procision turbo for 1500$,my goal is only 1300h.p,i'm planing on working 2 jobs tell the start of next race season and work on the car on the weekends.i only have to do everything to it. :lol:

The 88mm will probably work better for you in the 1/8th anyway, it'll spool up quicker, etc..

the 88 should do the trick i'm hopeing that it takes alittle bit of time to spool or i will be going up in smoke alot.and thats no good.is dragin going to run in the s/s class at sunshine?

well i used to be a reg down at sunshine every week regardless of what was going on, but that was with the ex .. now that we've been broken up it's kinda hard to always find someone who wants to go, or enjoys it as much.. no biggie tho! i don't care about goin by myself

i'll say what's up to y'all .. i just gotta know what car to look for lol then i can find the driver :D if i come out with cliff on the bike tho i'll be easy to spot with my jacket

yeah i noticed you got into the quick 8. how did you do? yeah im definately gonna come out friday and atleast watch. I am going to order the big shot upgrade for my NOS. so that should cure my problems with that. we shall see.

Good I just need a delay box, I made it to the second round. If I was .015 seconds quicker on the light I would have won, but the car did great.

sorry I wasn't able to locate any of you other guys lol I saw a couple guys running around with NOS bottles, but didn't have a clue if that would've been y'all. I was there though, stayed mostly over in the bleachers behind the food stand or along the fence over there, walked around in the pit area too .. I had on a bright pink tank top n ropers, so you may have seen me! but ya.. i'm sorry I wasn't able to say hey :(

I spent most of the time trying to figure out why my car kept going left.. and on the last pass wondering what I hurt after standing it up a little too high...
was happy with the 5.67 that it went though.. not to shabby for a little ol small block eh? :)

I think the rear might be off a little, just wasn't seeing it until we started putting some power to it.. going to pull the rear shocks and see what they look like, they're quite old come to think of it..
I'll be getting a 4 wheel alignment done in the near future after we make any changes to the car.

derek when u made that 5.67 pass they did not spray the track down with vht.after that pass everytime before u guys came to the line they where spraying it with vht.that might of been one of the problems for the wheel stands if u didn't change anything to the car.
