So, Im in my good 'ol git'R dun Slowkota goin to pick up my boy John to help him move some furniture, and when I approach the light in the staging lanes, I see this nice little Geo Metro hatchback... She, yes she, tosses me a little rev, so I respond with one of my own... The green light drops, and were off!!! I get her real good out the hole, and proceed to pull about 8 car lengths on her by the time I shut down at the top of fourth... Thats at an astonishing 60mph or so...
Next kill, Im heading back from picking up the furniture (computer desk, microwave, tv, and some other BS) and I roll up to the next staging light... I end up next to a late 80's model accord, sounded real mean with the nice little exhaust leak, and the stock stereo blarin... So I toss her a rev(yes, another female, and very cute I might add) and she responds... I wait for the light to drop, and ease it out of the hole (dont want the furniture flyin out you know....) I hit second, then into third and see her fading fast.... I toss it into fourth and shut down, and thought it would be appropriate to give her the hazards to be sure to know I was the victor... I let her catch up and give her a honk, and as I turn out of the shut down area, she waves and proceeds... ( I know, we should have followed to attempt to get some victory ass.... oh well)
And then after we drop the furniture off, we are heading back to my crib, and I roll up on this old Bronco, also with a mean sounding exhaust leak... So I toss him a rev, light drops and were off... Got about 4 trucklengths out and shut her down... He refused to run from a roll, so I caught him again at the next light, same outcome...
Then my loss... A nice new ram rolls up... Uh-oh, battle of the Dodges... I look over at him, and his wife sees me... Thinking I was looking at her, she rolls down her window and begins to talk to us, obviously part of an elaborate scheme to keep my eyes off the tree... So next thing I know, hes off... I slept at the light... He jumped out about 2 trucks by the time I hit it, and I swear it had to be a HEMI, because by the top of fourth, he had about 8 trucks on me.... Oh well.... I guess you win some and you lose some...
Well I was looking for an ego booster, so I got one more run before I got home... A younger fella driving a Caravan... One more Dodge-vs-Dodge battle... We go from about 40mph, and he takes the hit... I instantly reel him in, and proceed to put about 3 minivans on him before I shut her down, and pulled off into the pits...
All n all a pretty good night... The Slowkota prevails!!!! Not too bad for a little 'ol 4 cylinder :D
