View Full Version : 3 supras vs dsm
leaving a spot two supras come up behind me. green one with trd wing, and a red one with some wide ass tires. the green one lines up next to me i wait to hear him start spooling then floor it, im in 3rd and quickly start pulling on him, then my car starts to break up a little up top, i switch to 4th and i see him back about 1-2 cars, and my car was still breaking up. i had two other ppl in the car too. we do it again with the same out come. he had a fmic and exhaust, all i could see.
then the red one comes up, i try to richin it up and lowered the boost just a little. im in 3rd gear, i wait to hear him spool then i floor it, i slightly pulled but by the end of 3rd he got me by 1/2 a car. my car was breaking up bad at that point so i stopped.
last race was on the bridge going home. i lowered the boost more, met with a green supra that was at race track, he does a little fly by, then we get on the bridge, i drop it to 3rd i hear him spool then were off, got into 4th and i proceeded to put alot of cars on him. then he comes back, this time im trying go from a low 2nd gear pull, but he slams on his breaks like he wanted to go from a stop and im like wtf, theres traffic. so speeds back up. im in 2nd wait for him to hit it, begin to hear the turbo spool then im off, i put about a car on him, swith to 3rd slapped a few more cars, switched to 4th, saw it was over and he proceeds to fly right by me. then he lines up again wanting to race but my radar was going nuts and i declined that last run. all a good night best nigt ive had out in a while.

damn sounds like good runs. I think the green is near the high 400hp range and then the red is packing somehwere in the 500, maybe someone can chime in who knows the exact power. I also seen both of those cars out saturday.

this is pretty funny, i was just messing with you man :lol:
first time when i try to line up, you just take off, so im like.....ok....
next time i try to line up, you just take off when you are a car ahead of me, once again, im like.....ok....
oh yeah dont mind that hard brake, i accidently hit it when i was trying to slow down to mess with my ecu....:doh:
im used to 3 honks and then a go.....maybe im just old fashioned :?
if youd like to this for real, let me know :evil4:

sure ill go again, ill pm u when im ready i have to get something settle on my car first. well with 2 other witnesses in my car you started laying into it so i punched it, both times it was like that. both times we raced u never were behind a car we were about even and like i said i have 2 other witnesses, not including the band behind u which were with me saw it too. i waited to hear u start spooling. and if u like to do the 3 honk thing next time look to the side and let the person know that because me and my passenger were trying to get your attention but u never looked over. but with out a doubt ill be happy to go at it again, win or lose i dont care.

yea, i heard hes running 11's. my car does pretty good from a roll theres a few domestics in here that trap 120+ and ive keeped up with or beat, and that was with the old turbo.

Jorge, sounds like you had a WONDERFUL time regardless off the exact interpretations of the runs. Those danged (for you Brian) Supras are tough to kill no matter what.
Looked like you ran into Chris in the green TRD winged Supra a very nice BPU, and good froma dig as well. I thought maybe the red one would be Horatio, but his is very nasty.

Was this the two Supra's at Sonic and the Causeway Saturday? I know Chris's car is a beast, and the red one is alot faster than his. I'd like to see this race and witness it for myself. Also the red one from Sonic was a Targa, so maybe it wasn't him?

no it was him....i was haning out with them later in the night....the green one with the trd wing was chris and the red one, i dont know his name., puts out a shit of power and hes a cool guy too, tall with a targa top, either way they are a couple beautiful supras...cant wait to get in the action this weekend.....

DSM ...I was the tall guy in the red supra. The one extremely short sprint we did have you let out after I started walking you by 2 cars. You wouldn't play anymore after that… and had plenty of opportunities. We traveled a solid 3 miles together @ 1:00am on a 3 lane wide open highway but guess you felt you were done. How’d you like the open waste gate fly-by under the bridge? I think I your saw your girlfriend rolling up her window. (-: btw I was only at 15 lbs. I still have another 20 lbs. in reserve. Still it’s all in fun hope to meet up again. I’m getting too old for this…

hey nice to meet u, but honestly i shut it down after i ended 3rd, u only put half a car on me by then, even my two passengers saw it, but anyways, on the other times i couldve ran u, i didnt because the car was breaking up and i was worried about breaking and pissed because i wanted to run again and couldnt, and when we were on the highway, man i couldve kicked my cars ass for not running right. if u noticed after racing u your friend kept coming up wanting to race again but i didnt, trust me im not one to back down to a race win or lose, doesnt make a difference to me. and no my girlfriend didnt roll up the window but we were all like wtf:o i was only at 21psi but im sure your turbo is alot bigger than mine, hope to see u again.

67mm turbo is still alot bigger then that little dsm is running.

hahaha, yeah it's sad huh? Oh well they were testing the converter and its STILL to loose.. but the real test will be tonight when they take it to the track in Bob Helms car. so we'll see... back on topic ;)

That's cool, my car should be done by then also depending on what day of november it falls on. Maybe I'll tag along and bring up the rear.
Sounds like I missed a lot of fun and shouldn't have headed home at 11:30 when the helicopters started blinding my eyes with there spotlights. Maybe next time I'll get to play too :)

problems, the car was breaking up, changed the plugs, fixed it, leaking boost all day, checked when i got home and it was a hose that had a little hole. but my best run was 13.6@114 with a whoping 2.6 60ft at 19psi, i wasnt launching the car at all.
