The first run was a friend of mine with a 91 teg with a b18 swap. We lined up at 40 or so and I pulled it down into second at about 4500rpms. He gets the hit and I hit it soon after, jumped hard on him and put 10+ on him when I let out just shy of 120. He stayed within a couple cars of me before I had some work done.

The next race was real soon after as we were heading back to a friends house an 04 gt leaves the light as I turn right out in front of him in the slow lane and he's in the fast. I see that he's on it and probably coming with a closing speed of 10-15mph, I hammer it in second, levels out within a couple seconds and I proceed to put 3 cars or so on him through 3rd gear. He was a little stuned by the whoopin and complimented my car and was even more shocked with how it sounded at idle. ;)

Anyway, those were my first kills with the mild new setup.

Not, I'm breaking out of slow and moving into "quick." Still borderline though. :lol:

Crazy bastard 120 in a foxbody, Thought I was the only one with enough balls to bring it to those kinda speeds.


I read a while back that you had some sort of Edelbrock intake, which one is it? the Performer or Performer RPM

if you dont mind me askin.......


would you like a run with another slow5.0?

It's a ported Performer RPM.

same thing I ordered minus the porting,


lol you should beat me, I dont have heads or cam yet, just intake/TB/Massair/CAI/Pulleys/Fullexhaust/Gears


etc....

just wanted to see where I stand with a H/C/I car

Yea, mine has all that good stuff minus the pulleys, but those are on the list with an elec fan within the next week.

I dont recomend pulleys w/o a 3G alt upgrade, not enough gain for how much it slows down everything,


I'm just doing it because Im gona delete A/C/powersteering/smog pump

I'll leave the stock alternator pulley on it and just underdrive the rest. It's a new stock alternator, I'll raise the idle if it is a problem.

I wouldnt even know man, Ive had ppl tell me High 13's to mid 13's

Ive outran cars that are faster then that too, I got to bring it to the track though

We'll meet up some time and get a run in. Can't be at the track for a couple months, my tranny is well on its way out.

I'm in a low roll only mode right now, my transmission is not going to be launched from a dig unfortunately.

Give me a month or so to get together the money for my new tranny and I'd be more than happy to give you a run from a dig, that use to be my favorite place to go from. :)

haha i used to run it on the street,so it has no problem doing that but my cars built to go from a dig,its not a roll race setup in it.
plus the car ant street legal anymore so no street racing for my pos.

Mine is setup for a dig as well .. hell I ran 8.80's at sunshine when I had 186rwhp. :lol: Just right now the tranny is about to give way so i don't want to chance launching it. I need it to hold on for a couple more months.
