on the last few laps at dday2 i learned a lot more about my car, at dday 3 i was able to implement those things that i learned... to me dday3 was a success for me in my stage of drifting... but i think if i had a better clutch and some real suspension in the rear i could have done a lot better... but its ok i think everyone did great and as long as you had fun thats all that matters.

I sucked because I wasn't driving my car. My drivers licence expired 2 days beforethe event and I didn't know it. And they wouldn't let me drive because of it. So I let my brother take my place and it was his first time trying to drift. So he sucks. Because he was in my car I am sure everyone thought it was me driving. So I am sure everyone thinks I suck. So that is why I sucked at D-Day 3.

i wouldnt say i sucked, but what kept me from doing awesome was:
ebrake still doesnt lock the rear tires
clutch slips
117ft/tq in general
heat cycled and hard azenis for my 'grip' tires
blown stock shocks up front and tokico short strokes in the rear, makes my car sag in the ass, lift the front up and just body roll in the front, thus taking the needed traction from my front tires.
so basically it was just feint and A LITTLE clutch kicking that i had to work with.

excuses excuses. i didn't get any slack when i was at miami with only 138hp running leans as shit. weren't you the one then talking all kinds of smack of how much better you did then me? my how the tables have turned. well it does go to show that when you beat the piss out of a car long enough it will die. and i'd have to say that yours and my cars have taken the worst beating this summer! although i didn't hit any walls. hehehehehe

I sucked, edit: suck, because I did not participate like a pansy. I did watch though and wow has there been a lot of improvement since DDAY2! + I found the set of wheels I HAVE TO HAVE. The gold mesh wheels on the kouki were sooo hot!
Is it wrong if I said I liked to see people crash almost as much as I liked seeing a perfect run through the course?
+1 for awsome crashes.

Not really crashes I guess, but people mowing down hay bails and the black guards was entertaining.

Hrmm.. did I suck? I actually think I did pretty damn good for first time driving RHD on track and having no e-brake usage (if you pull it, it won't release). No excuses though, I'm happy with how I drove, just LHD and e-brake would made things more spectacular.
Since the Bimmer was wrecked in hurricane Frances, I was the guy driving Rock's white RHD 240/Silvia on every other run.
BTW I almost think the s-chassis is too easy to drift... you guys don't even have to work for it lol, those cars practically slide themselves.
Either way, I'll be joing the s-chassis drifter crowd soon when my S13.4 is done.
