ZACSLS1 VS Launch+Leko

A group of us met up last night for some fun. Things were getting a little boring so Launch, Leko, and myself decided to do a 3 wide run on the good ole BIS. All of us on Street tires so a 40 roll was good. 3 honks and we go-- Leko (mark 3 Supra) falls back slightly but was definately not out of the game. Launch stayed next to me and then started to move ahead on me. I thought to myself, screw this, then I sprayed. Put a good distance on him but it was all in fun.

2nd run- The supra and I go from a dig. Supra got the hit and we both spun pretty hard. I caught him and it stayed fairly even until I sprayed. Yes, I sprayed!!!!! :D

Good runs. Kudos on the new mods Chris, you suprised me.:mullet: :D

He runs consistent low 8s in the 1/8 mile and my best before the spray was an 8.3. His nickname (launch) is correct. He has to be on high bosst to beat me on a low roll but he can still do it. If I spray though, it is a done deal. I look forward to it when he and I can line up on the track and I have slicks on the back. Should be pretty fun.

Zac if you want to post up then do it correctly. The three wide race between us ended with you no more than 1 1/2 cars ahead. This tells me that the new turbo is gonna wax that ass by more than what you consider a good distance. I agree that the NOS is helping you tremendously but I'm really starting to think that your LS1 really isn't shit without it. Especially after seeing you race the 3700 lb automatic supra and having to spray to beat him. Anyhow good victory for now. Enjoy it while it lasts.

If you would like to do it again so that you can stand corrected, I know of a couple people that would love to tape you getting your ass whooped again. I was being nice when I posted that. you have run other people that I have ran as well... They might see otherwise. If I can see you in my rearview, you are more than 1 1/2 cars back. If you needed to spray to keep up with Leko then you are having problems. That Supra is far from fast. it does very nice burnout though.

I did not have to spray to beat leko. We can all go down to the next runday sunday and see what happens. Launch needs new drag radials and so does Leko for the track. Get that shit sqaured away and we will see what happens. At the track, Leko doesn't get the hit. We go at the same time. Traction will be less of an issue. I drifted through 3rd. My fault. My tires. Regardless, I will wax your ass into the ground any day of the week. Look at my kills, look at yours. The thing about you being close to me doesn't even add up and as I remeber correctly,,,, you said that leko was ahead of you until 3rd gear. Damn dude!!! Do I have you in a tiff or what. Yes once again you speak very loud on this site. Good for you. I personally watched the race with you and leko. Could of fooled me that your car was spinning through third. Also I will confirm my statement about not catching Leko until third. Gave the hit, caught up, and won the race and didn't need spray to do it. When Leko asked you to close the bottle and run straight up from a dig you declined. Wonder why. Don't get me wrong I think nitrous is great. I also know that we are getting faster and there is a limit as to how much nitrous your car is gonna hold. And of course I understand run what you brung. Nitrous doesn't seem to be a problem for most people until they get sprayed. I spray just about everyone. He asks me to turn my bottle off, I decline. So what. I wanted to put a buslength in-between us and have a little fun. Point is, Run what you brung, I will gladly run you from a dig at the right place. I just got my car out of the body shop, no sense in sending it back. I ran Leko straight up but after spinning the way that I did and getting too far behind, once I started to catch him, of course I sprayed, It didn't take much for me to jump out 2+ cars on him. C-mon now. You did get me in a tiffy because I get tired of the ricer bullshit. You got beat, admit it and move on. Get the bigger turbo and come back. Now you have a little more motivation. You got beat by some punk-ass 20 year old kid. I do not make excuses for losing dude. I spun, that is why I had my NOS armed. In case I did fall behind. I know that you aren't going to make it to the track event to run. Perhaps watch, that is cool. But, the next Runday Sunday, we need to settle this on the track.. I run Zac with the bottle. Running without it has been done 15 times at least. However Zac has not run me from a dig yet with it and has only run me once with his newly increased shot and his distance figures are wrong. Plenty of wittnesses to confirm this. Not for nothing but I have yet to say that I only run cars that are not spraying. I run them. Not sure if Zac does.

When i ran a Mustang with 100shot i pulled him good. He thought he didnt lose bad. What if i cranked up the boost? Like i can. A race is a race. Zac would be very foolish to close his bottle of not spray someone if he had juice. If he did that then he would have to hear how slow his car is like you guys are claiming. Run what you brung.

It was a fun run and I will have no problem beating him all motor. We will run again. Some people are just sore for losing. No biggey. My car is fast Fordified. I have proven that out racing. When I talked to Leko a couple of weeks ago it was STILL cutting out right before it shifted. If he hasn't fixed it in the year or so that he's owned it, I doubt he's fixed it in the last couple of weeks.

Nothing like a good call out to quiet a person. On da juice, I have lost twice. Both times to stout cars. Unfortunately, both Fords. Yes, New cobras. Nice ones though. I believe that the distance was right. I was friendly about it. Let's let this die until we can meet at the BMP to do it right.

my expreinces with you in the past can best be described as you acting like a total ricer! you tell me how u pull ls1's so hard or what ever then we race and i put a solid 5-10 cars on you, (who knows how many it was, but it wasn't even close) instead of you saying, "great race havoc, thank you for the run" you went on and on about how I MUST have nitrous to of have pulled u like that. and then i had to prove to you that i didn't - to the tune of $500 and a phone conversation., then i think you finally believed me because i was ready to re-race you agian after a complete search of my car.. you declined.

2nd expericne, you came up to FIS and thought you were gonna pull my man Jaegermiester :lol: i told u he is faster than my car motor to motor and it would be a waste of time from a roll, but u wanted to go at it anyways. we did, and he put atleast 10 cars on you. I know u raced jager from a dig, and got out on him really good, but in no time he was passing you like u were standing still, anyways, dont race a street tirerd car against one that has drag radials or slicks, don't make sense.


If you wanna challange someone to a dig, street tire vs street tire or DR vs DR, well, i still don't think u stand much of a chance but good luck, your gonna need it! I'll be there with teh digiatal vid camera ready to make another Havoc Produciton.

From a dig on street tires, he will take me and I will have to play catch-up. Thus his name (launch) comes into play. Like Jaiger, I will catch him. I don't have a problem with losing. I just don't want anyone to belittle my car. I think I have raced enough people to gain a little respect. Perhaps we will run next thursday at BMp. I don't think that my car will be ready for sunday but I am trying. Also, Launch needs new drag radials. That should be enough time. I want it to be fair. Anyways, I won another for the LS1s. Actually, 2 more.

I thought this went to bed but I guess it hasn't. Yes it is true as we have been through this before that both you and jeager beat me on a roll. Zac on his motor has never beat me from a dig or a roll even up to 130. Needless to say both your cars can beat Zac in either circumstance motor for motor. Also from a dig Jeager did catch me at 120mph which is 14mph past what I trap in the 1/4 mi. On the strip Jaeger would have lost that race. Do you think Zac can do better on street tires and his motor. Not trying to be a dick here Chris I will take this bet if you can get Zac to accept. Also what have I said that makes you want to call me a ricer. I haven't made any excuses yet. I just do not agree with Zac. After reading this a second time do you think that I am weak for not backing down to a roll race against Jaeger? Also My race from a dig with Jaeger was on street tires. If you want you can post both races and you will see that on the one from a dig you guys were well past the 1/4mi mark when you passed me. My car certainly has never been noted as a top end car nor have ever said or not admitted a loss to anyone who has beat me.

No doubt I thought Havoc was spraying especially after Zac said he was. I also spoke to Havoc personally and he gave me a different story than Zac. After racing Zac at least 15 times prior to racing Havoc I admit that Havoc is a whole lot more to handle than Zac. Thats why Zac never raced Havoc until he put on the juice. Let them race now that both are spraying and let me know what happens. Really I do not have that much money in my Nissan and it has run 12.910 @ 106. BTW how do you know how much I have in my car? How much should a car that runs high 12's cost? I would guess that most LS1's cost alot more than I have in my car.

Every time you were given an all motor run with me, You pulled me by perhaps a fender. Not all that much buddy. So don't try to make it out like you have walked me. Also, when we were at Sunshine last together- You pulled consistent 8.2s on drag radials. I was pulling 8.3 and 8.4s. on street tires. Obviously I was coming on strong towards the end of the 1/8th mile. So you better believe that I can outrun you all motor in the 1/4. Do the math.

Another thing- You got a 40MPH roll the other night. Basically towards the bottom of my 2nd gear. I didn't spray you until we got well into 3rd. I was also running a smaller shot than usual. You want to challenge that, I am ok with that. You and I can go from a roll again and I will spray from the start and you will see the difference. Havoc can tape it. We can all laugh out loud together.

What Brett is saying about his car is actually true. A lot of SR guys don't run near as good as times as he does for the ammount of money Brett has into his car. ( Going by what he has done, not an actual number) I can't wait to see that new setup.. I've seen some of the stuff Leko had of yours and was making, pretty nice =-)

Sweet, I agree that drag radials make quite the difference. Next time I get out we can go at it again. If you guys are gonna be out on a mon or tues send me a pm as those are usually good nights for me to get out. Hopefully I will get some new tires soon also. My BFG's are showing the thread so I'm still on street tires. With the new clutch and the DR's I'm sure you will be tough to handle.

I have never asked a 03 or 04 cobra to unbolt their supercharger. I will be happy to send you the vid Andy. However there are a few modded sc cobras that are really fast and some w/ nitrous that are out of my reach.

If you want to post your win just don't stretch the truth. Besides I'm pretty sure that with the size of the shot Zac says he is running if he keeps it up without paying attention to that bottom end it will die soon anyhow. Beside Zac tells me he has dynoed 509 at the rear wheels. I would not feel bad losing to a car that has that type of power. In fact I should lose by a mile with those numbers. The fact that I know with the set up he has that his rwhp is no where 509 is a whole different story.
