Fucking Toyota Tacoma didnt stop, hit me, I let off the brake while I was stopped so her ass pushed me into the intersection. Amazingly there is just a little crease in my bumper!

What should I do tho? The chick was really nice about it and I got all her information and stuff, she says she will take care of it but is it a dick thing to do if I get her to pay for a new bumper/repair? I mean my car is 1.5 months old, and I wasnt at fault at all but its so minor.

Bleh, stupid morals and feeling bad for people. She had to have money tho, her boyfriend/husband pulled off slightly after in a 2004 E46 M3 and he was talking about his other cars and what not, so its not like they are dirt poor.

Someone help me with my moral decision!

No it is NOT a dick thing to do. Take it to the dealer, get an estimate. No bondo or refinish crap. There is an article out there which supports NOT repaingint these bumper covers since they are molded with the color into them.
So new injection technology.Get a new bumber cover. Claim it on her insurance!! People only learn the hard way.

I would rather go through her I dont want to dck over her insurance...

there is no paint missing tho at all its strange.

think you can find that article about not painting these bumpers?

Edit - This is my 4th time being rear ended.

Once in my Qx4

Twice in my RSX-S

Now this one in my SRT-4

just get an estimate to get it fixed.. tell her the price and let her decide if she wants to use the insurance or pay for it in cash.. if her bf was driving a m3 id be suprised if they cant fix it.. i doubt itll be to expencive to repair

Well its $417 for a new rear fascia. Already painted, thing is when I tap my bumper I hear metal, if she had enough force to shove a 3000 pound car with a 3 kids in it (145, 175, and 110) a good 8 feet from a full stand still it might have done more damage.

rememebr you also need the clips for the fascia.
Also our cars, have a foam unde the fascia, and its kinda loose fomr the factory. so when u tap it, that may be the metal sound u get.
Either way, pull the fascia off and visually inspect the foam and bumper for damage.

Yeah I think a clip or two are busted because its really loose now.

I am just taking it to the Jerry Ulm collision center on Monday, just going to say "I got rear ended, if something is broken tell me and write an estimate"

I due have a bad back from being a dumbass kid, it does always hurt. I mean shit if I wanted to I know for a fact I could go to a chiropractor and tell them I got rear ended and my back hurts now. I could sue her for every cent. BUT I am not a dick, seeing how I dont want to take the ladies $400ish I dont have the heart to sue someone over this.

Jerry Ulm Dodge Collision Center quoted atleast $489 for the fix. Also said "Might be unseen damage" cause they didnt really take off the bumper...

Sucks for...

But on the bright side, just ordered some 5Zigen wheels, 17x8 with some 235/45R17 Hankooks, Two weeks till they get here =)

But on another downer, Stage 1 still isnt here, been like 3 weeks, nor is my Mopar STS with MPx knob and bushings, been 3 weeks there also...

Be cool if I get everything on the same day...
