1989 Dodge Shelby

I have a 1989 Dodge Daytona Shelby Turbo. I was wondering what turbo is one the car currently. And what can I upgrade it to using the stock flange.

2.2 Turbo II ---------> Intercooled 5spd
Garrett T03 .42 A/R compressor .48 A/R turbine

2.5 Turbo I ---------> Non Intercooled Automatic
Mitsubishi TE04H cannot find the specs right now but its small

You can pretty much upgrade to any style Garrett T series as long as you use a Chrysler style Exhaust housing. It has a different pattern than the standard T03 flanges. Check out www.turbosunleashed.com they specialize in Dodge/Shelby turbos.

1989 Dodge Daytona Shelby 2.2, Turbo2 & Intercooled here. My transmission went bad and im having problems finding one. Ive heard a trans from a 93 IROC will work. Should it and what c.v. joints will work?

If you can find a A568 transmission from an IROC R/T than it would be a good upgrade, but you will need more than just the transmission. The 568 has a larger input shaft so you will need a different clutch, and it also has a different shift pattern, hence you will need a different shifter.
