It's got a really broad range, which is good...but it can be hard to distinguish at times. I like using something with alot of "real" instruments and/or warm vocals when tuning or demo-ing SQ. One of my favs is the instrumental from the Chip's Ahoy commercial a couple years ago. I don't know if anyone remembers it and have no idea what it's actually called...it's like pops swing kinda stuff though....Alot of trumpets, snare drums, and a wide variety of instruments that can sound amazing on a nice component set.

i know what youre talking about.. im singing it in my head too.. very famous big band. I understand the range thing, but when i hear resonance on an acoustic guitar, or left right and center.. i dont hear left right and cneter in elec. music

SQ:
Hotel California

Brian Mcknight sounds really good too, and it's very very hard to make the piano sound realistic so his stuff is a good test.

Subs:
To see how low they can go-Art of noise, out of this world

SPL-Ying yang twins, 36 mafia
