hell, i posted up in the n00b thread but i want a straight answer. whats the drift scene out in florida? anything? and organizations or groups putting stuff together? im from www.clubfr.net and we are on our 2nd drift event this up coming sept 11th. on september 26th there will be a RSR drift festival south of chicago with people like Orido ,alex p, gushi, bunch of other cats too. so ill be in florida for two years of straight training at the penscola naval base. id like to offer what ever help i can to help the scene out down there.

i currently drive a ae86 ,which i am selling today....i think it would be wise to have a/c in florida... so ill be looking for a zenki s14 once i get down there. well sorry for jumping topics like a moron. hope to hear good news like how keiichi has a summer home in florida and he goes out with u guys everynight and what not...right?

 

well the scene is good, much better than a year ago. we are about to have our.... 4th or 5th event on the 25th (wouldve been today but frances screwed us). it will be the 3rd in the central florida area, and there were 2 in miami (one was a competition). there was also some D1-prequalify tryout or something in miami.... i dunno. so its alive and kickin.

 

sounds like stuff pretty east of where i will be... im not sure how easy it is to commute out there...so is that kinda stuff acessible from pensacola?? im just afraid ill be all alone out in penscola man.. lol... i need some dori buddies down there! beer in the garage nights, getting mad at our cars,late night madness....

 

in pensecola, your best bet is to buy a truck, and go muddin. your atleast a 7 hour drive from us

 

yeah, not much happening in that area from what I know....get a truck, buy some guns and go hunting or something, that seems to be what they do up there. I don't even know of SCCA is very active in that area
