new to TR, need an engine

hi everyone, my name is mark and i was referred here by a friend. i drive a 1993 mercury cougar xr7. my bottom end recently went south and i need to replace it as inexpensively as possible. its nothing fancy, its just basic transportation but i was told lots of mechanics and car savvy guys post here so i was hoping to find some help. the engine is a 3.8l V6. if anyone knows where i can find one in good shape please let me know. thanks in advance, i look forward to getting to know some of you. :cool:
