Please post up in this thread if we can count on you FOR SURE to represent TR as a racer !

Of course we want as many TR spectators there too so lets hear it !

There will be some fast cars there but lots of regular 14 - 12 second cars.

No insepections but you will need the proper safety equipment if you are faster than 12's..

A lot of clubs are coming but there are a few ones in particular that do not care for imports so wooping up on them will be a must !

There is a shop out in Plant city that sells VP gas. I am going to p/u 5-10 gals this week. I believe that United Speed world in Tampa sells it as well. Contact VP and they can give you the list of dealers.

Well after last night i won't be making it to the track. Clutch went out and have to replace it, it's slipping real bad.:mad:

BTW - with the projection of the storm comming around here on sunday is the event still happening?

Well i don't do my work myself and can't get a clutch in till next week. If you can get me a centerforce dual friction clutch and are willing to help my put it in i will be there. As of now i am fvxord:(

no one ever answer me...what does it meab when they say (tech card)...is the racing open to everyone or onl;y certain people

It's open to anyone that can pass tech. Tech isn't all that hard. Make sure you have your battery tied down tight, helmet, ect.

It's open to everyone. They probably won't even look at your car, but as was mentioned make sure everything is in order, radiator overflow, battery not flopping around, stuff like that. You'll need a helmet if you think you are going to be in the 13's, I'm assuming you won't be faster, or you'd probably know about the other stuff already. The tech card itself is just a paper you fill out to run, you just put your basic info on it (name, address, etc.) and your car number will be on it. If you have any questions when you get there, look for my Buick or I'm sure anyone there will be happy to steer you in the right direction.

The track owners are going to call me tomorrow late afternoon to let me know what the decision is going to be. So for now it is still on.

thanks yeah...everything is tied down...all my catch tanks and over flows are there and i have a helmet just incase the hurricane winds blow me into the 13's...
speaking of has there been any updates on if its going to be cancled till a further date cause of the hurricane....

i didnt race a mustang :lol: i ran jaeger...i doubt anyone would go 4 or 5 days without getting on it with new "mods"...btw, since then i have yanked the torque arm out of the mount, and have a slightly broken driveshaft now :(
