I too would have to agree that 12 second cars are merely quick. But that makes me quick, so therefore (for this event) 12's are going to be considered "fast enough" to come out and play, lol.

All these guys "shooting for 12s" or "should run" need to get to the track and RUN those #s. 9 times out of 10 when you actually go to the track you will not run the number you want.

I would make a cutoff around mid 11s myself.

ha ha ha. i wanted a cobra so bad but all i could afford is this. o well. i haven't ran my car at the track yet but a guy with the same set up i have now ran a 12.8. well im gettin a few more things soon and like i said im shootin for a 12.6 but will definitely be in the 12's. i know a 12 second car isn't fast for you guys. but it is for an n/a z. lol. I want to go to the track but i'd rather go with some people and most the people i know on this forum either work too much or don't go to the track.

No no...Im not knocking your car at all. 350Z's are very very nice. And 12s is very respectable.

But some of these cars that will be out would likely beat a high 12s car by 20+ cars.

well since everyone already knows what i have right now, im planning on keeping the rest secret. put it this way, if i were to pop the hood you wouldn't be able to see whats new. does that give you enough ideas? no i won't be on slicks but probably dr's. Yah i know most of those cars are serious. believe me i ran a zo6 with headers and intake and when we downshifted from about 60mph his chirp scared me he left me like i was breaking. than we tried again in my wheelhouse of about 45mph and i was surprised because when i shutdown at about 90mph he only had me by about 10 cars. lol
