TR Invades Hard Rock Casino?!?!

In one of Joes topics, "what do you do for the rush...", I noticed quite of few of us play poker. We should all meet up at the Hard Rock Casino and play some poker rookies! I prefer a week night as the casino isn't as crouded and I'll just sleep at work the next morning to make up for it, but If your interested post a day of the week thats best for you and by Saturday the majority wins.

i did. tuesday. We usually get their about 10pm. And yes I have to work too the next morning, man up and just go people. You can survive with 3 or 4 hours of sleep one night. lol

i play the tournaments on tuesdays. last week my income was just short of $500. i go from winning about that much in a week to losing that much in a week. i usuall play the $120 buy in holdem' tourney's. any of you like the tournaments? im trying to quit because i feel like im starting to get addicted.lol

just enter the $225 tournament and finish first. you you make about $900 so you will have some extra to play around with. it is that easy! lol those guys are crasy good.

i have yet to go to derby lane but i really want to. i hear they have some good low $ amount buy in tourneys with a big crowd.

So who went Tuesday? I did, played $1 hold 'em for about 4 hours with $60 before losing it all. Post your results if you went.

i went wednesday nite and played $1 stud from 8-11 with $20.
I left with $130. got quite a few flushes and full boats that nite. not bad though, i've won alot more when i play longer and especially at the $2 table, but i also have lost alot a few times. so don't let my winnings get anyone all excited to go out there and become addicted.lol

^ addicted, yep, that's me. Haha, for all you regulars at the card tables in Hard Rock i'm sure you know what I am talking about when I say "OPTIONS!", "CAP IT!" :lol: I love that dealer.

He has a greasy mullet, right?
He is cool though.

$2 dollar hold em tables can have some big ass pots if everyone bets like crazy. I came to the table with 80, as I was sitting there won two big hands, had a stack of 5 dollar chips (20x5) and 2 stacks of equal size 2 dollar chips. I was up at that point about 100, but slowly lost it all. Its very hard to leave there up....

EDIT: for anyone who doesnt know, if your playing cards they have 99cent draft beers and free soda's. (i usually stick with cherry cokes cause they give you lots of cherries)

huh, i have always paid for my cokes and also see the dudes next to me pay for they're beers. o well
