this can't be good. it is on my home stereo system. is it getting to much power or am I just dreaming??

might be a bit too much power.... how long have yu had it??? if its new give a little time to get used to juice... if youve had them for some time then they might take a shit on you soon...

thanks I lowered the power on the back. the to much power was distorting the sound anyway... it isn't doing it anymore..
but what is burning when it happenes?
Majority of the time its the voice coil wires melting together. Pretty soon that sub might be almost as good as a fridge magnet
