Sub I'm not sure yet, mids/highs will be something like Infinity, Polk, or Blaupunkt. Nothing super high powered or top of the line, just something to freshen up my pathetic excuse of a stereo that came in my car.

When you say "mids/highs" are you talking about going with a component set or coaxials?

Front gets a 5 1/4"/tweeter component set...rear gets ridiculously small 4 1/2".

lol, why? one set i looked had better specs than anything comparable. i mean, the name itself kinda scares me since I dont' know how to say it, but I've never had any experience with the brand. I'll probably just end up with Infinity for all the speakers but the sub.

Specs mean little in the car audio world as far as quality goes. But if that's what floats your boat, you can probably find some nice Boss or Pyle products on eBay with some pretty incredible numbers for mere pennies.;)

P.S.- I'll second Infinity as far the group you're considering goes....

I got the Infinity Reference for the front of my car from Crutch field. I love them.

Alot better than the stock 12 year old speakers.
