I Am Considering This As An Option For An AE86 Or Maybe Even A Tacoma.
It'll Be A Street Car, Not Daily Driven (Hopefully) And I'm Planning To Turbocharge It Eventually.
1) What Are The Specs On These Motors And Years
{94 And Up Tacomas And 4Runners}
2) How Difficult Would A Swap Into An AE86 Would Be?, Who Can Do It?, What Are The Pros And Cons? And What Parts Are Needed Specifically?
3) Is There Anyone In The Area That's Done It Before?
I'm Not 100% Sure About It Just Seeing Some Opinions And Hopefully Past Experiences.
Whatever Info You Can Shed Would Be Appreciate, Please Only Reply If You Can Actually Attribute Something To The Post.

why don't you go 3sgte insted, cuz the 2r & 3r motors are really
expensive as far as modifying goes. i know it's the new thing but i would rather go 3sgte.

Is there even a FR 3S-GTE equipped vehicle? :lol: Now that I think of it, the Alltrac is AWD and the MR-2 is MR..
anyways, whenever I want info like that, rather than asking to be spoon fed, I type the engine name in my Google search bar, and sometimes include "specs"

That's Exactly Where I Got It From, I Haven't Been Able To Communicate With Them. Yeah He Does, A 2RZ-FE.
I Did Try A Search But Not Much Of Anything Useful Came Out, That's Why I Asked. I'm Not A Teenager Dreaming Of Cars And Trying To Be Cool If That's What You're Thinking, I Just Asked Here Because I Figured Someone Might Be Able To Assist In The Project. Thanks Anyways For The Input.
Is There Anyone Locally That Could Help?

lots of money and anything can be done. i'm sure it wouldn't be cheap. i don't see how it would be that hard, the engine is a FR to start out with and all you would need would be a engine with 2wd tranny and just make custom mounts and a custom drive shaft. throw in a nice stand alone engine managment system and yoiur set. not as easy as it sounds but it would be neat. i would stick with the 2rz instead of the 3rz cause of the 3rz's taller deck height cause of its longer stroke meaning it prolly won't fit under the corolla's hood.

I've seen 2rz and 3rz side by side at the Tacoma meets, the 3rz doesn't look any taller at all actually. Double check that.
