need help

ok i have a MTX RT202 amp running my 6x9's and today i got a new cd player from someone off tr and i went to hook my 6x9's directly to my cd player this time along with my 6 1/2's in my doors..so i got everything hooked up right and then i dont have sounds comming outta my rear left...so i was like ok i will jus run in back to my amp so i get everything hooked up right and now my amp wont turn on...everything is hooked up right (i checked like 2342351 times) no fuses blown...i cant figure out whats wrong with it someone plz help

Sounds like two different problems to me.

First off the rear speaker. It's either a bad connection/loose wire or that channel on the deck's amp is fried. Assuming you'r already sure it's not the speaker itself.

Second, your MTX amp. Test to see that your power and ground wire at the amp are active. If so, there's a problem somewhere in the remote turn-on. Could be pinched somewhere, could be in the deck's harness. If you can't find it, you can always run the remote from the amp to the switched power wire at the deck instead. Only thing now is, your amp will turn on everytime your car does....which really isn't a major problem unless you have engine noise.

i took my cd player back out this morning and hooked the RL comming from the cd player to the RR coming from my speaker and it worked..so i took the wires out of the RR on the deck and then put them back in the right way and it worked so i got it fixed..i guess i was frustrated and tired when i first started at 1 this morning with jasons car and we had to re-wire almost the whole damn car..then started mine at 2:30 this morning and didnt get done but when i woke up and started again it was easy...i might post some pics of everything in a little bit

the next thing on the list is subs and a bigger amp...i am getting a brutus (sp?) amp and i am undecided on the subs

how big of an amp for the subs are you looking for.?

as for the amp maybe 300-500 rms i would rather have a sq system then a spl system...so far everything is decent..jus need a little bit more bass

watts doesnt determine sq vs spl..

well its not a big budget around 500 so anything u could recommend would be appreciated
