and usually the dealership has first say if a claim is denied or not.

Exactly, so if the dealer thinks it's questionable or they won't be paid for the claim, they call the SOA rep in to make a final decision before "working for free". The rep said "No", end of story.

the work i have seen your "12 year veteran techs" perform is average at best.

You haven't seen the work they have done, you don't even know who they are so how would you know? Their names aren't even on the R.O.

the stories i know of ive dealt with first hand. or am close to the source of the story.

You don't have a Subaru, you aren't a customer at Mastro so everything you think you know is 2nd hand, or coming from the fool who can't take the responsibility for tearing his own car up. Typical "racer", thinks they can rag out, mod to hell, street race a car off a lot and get the warranty to "fix" it for them. Grow up.

merely installing parts from performance companies does not make you a performance shop.

Thank god, or you and all the other ricers around here would think they were performance shops!

We are a dealer service department first, and we offer quality performance accesories to our customers.

also, public forum or not... it isnt your job to read forums and then deny claims based on that.

Your the one making the claim that a claim was based on something read on a forum, not me. I read the forums as an enthusiast, and it's not up to me to allow or deny claims.

and you obviously do care, or else you, and your other sub par service employees wouldnt be arguing over it.

I thought you weren't personally attacking anyone? You don't even know me. And sure I care, a company I believe in is being bashed by some asshole with no experience with the company at all. It's not argueing when I'm right and your an asshole.

if people on the forum know mark blew his car up by his own doing fine, the truth will come out. it isnt your job to air his business on the same public forum.

Um, Mark did air his own issues here....not me or anyone else. And I'm not airing his business, I'm defending a company I believe in that you are slandering.

im not personally attacking anyone,

Yes you are.

but i just think the work is sub par, and they should stick to normal repairs, and leave the performance alone.

Based on what, stories? Great, thanks for your opinion.

and reeves has better prices from what i understand.

Hrm, Reeves charges $86 per hour, Mastro charges $74 you understand great. And BTW, Reeves will deny your warranty for having a K&N Drop In filter...ask me how I know.

i understand that the new way to run tr is to let your friends get the last word in and then ban whoever you choose.
but i can just re-register.. not that it matters alot anyway...but

Federal Warranty Laws
1.The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C))

This federal law regulates warranties for the protection of consumers. The essence of the law concerning aftermarket auto parts is that a vehicle manufacturer may not condition a written or implied warranty on the consumers using parts or services which are identified by brand, trade, or corporate name (such as the vehicle maker's brand) unless the parts or service are provided free of charge. The law means that the use of an aftermarket part alone is not cause for denying the warranty. However, the law's protection does not extend to aftermarket parts in situations where such parts actually caused the damage being claimed under the warranty. Further, consumers are advised to be aware of any specific terms or conditions stated in the warranty which may result in its being voided. The law states in relevant part:

“No warrantor of a consumer product may condition his written or implied warranty of such product on the consumers using, in connection with such product, any article or service (other than article or service provided without charge under the terms of the warranty) which is identified by brand, trade or corporate name...” (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)).

and i was referring to the new vehicle prices, not labor rates.
but id pay a little more for quality work.
yes, it is my opinion that the work is sub par, based on facts, and a couple vehicles i have worked on that ive had to fix shoddy repairs.
i have seen the work your 12 yr techs have done, and it isnt anything to brag about.

another thing...why doesnt the owner of the "monster wrx" project car not even acknowledge that having any work done by mastro?
but, whatever, im just a ricer, that doesnt know anything. so i guess ill just let you get the last word in again, and then be banned again. whatever.

why would you want to re-register on a forum that you obviously aren't welcome at? No one will talk tech w/ you, your posts are going to get ignored or you will just be put on everyone's ignore feature.

Great way to prove your point, about all you've proved thus far is your an immature arrogant asshole. oh, and, IBTB.
